2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor
This position is with Halla Visteon Climate Control (HVCC) in Shorter, Alabama. HVCC is a majority-owned subsidiary of Visteon Corporation, and a full-line automotive supplier of climate systems and components.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities: This supervisory role is responsible for completing shift maintenance operations by planning and completing requirements; supervising staff.
Evaluating all maintenance manpower needs and staff accordingly.
Manage maintenance department, ensuring that employees get proper training, guidance and feedback.
Direct staff to work with production supervisors, manufacturing engineers & production planners to enhance the preventive & predictive maintenance systems to maximize production time and minimize down time.
Will direct daily work activities of maintenance staff.
Analyze maintenance problems and devise and implement a plan of action, to ensure that equipment is properly maintained in a timely manner to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Direct the purchase & installation of new or existing equipment.
Ensures a safe working environment and make sure housekeeping issues are addressed.
Develop and maintain parts inventory system to ensure control and proper levels of spare parts.
This position will be in charge of troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems on industrial machinery and equipment in a production environment.
Strong mechanical, electrical and supervisory experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
