Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist will provide the highest level of support to our Packaging division sales team, and ultimately to our customers, by ensuring on-time and full delivery of needs, including opportunity review, quote proposal preparation, and sales order entry.

Reports to the Director of Sales, Packaging DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Assist sales reps in managing the opportunity/sales order/delivery life cycle for our customers Opportunity Maintenance:
Support assigned sales reps and customers through the following key actions:
Organize and manage sales opportunities through the CRM dashboard, including pricing, freight, issue resolution, etc.
Create and maintain reports to track sales win/loss information Act as the primary contact regarding sales opportunity questions Coordinate with sales team and customer to collect all relevant information to create and deliver quotes in timely manner (ideally 24-hour turnaround time) Opportunity Development:
Act as liaison between sales, sourcing, and procurement to organize and communicate all relevant information to the sales rep and/or the customer, including:
Order pricing and costs Quote and order status, both initiate and monitor Item system set-up Price schedule revisions Discount rate changes Assist with customer sample requests Organize customer artwork and work with internal/external teams Record progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system Collaborate with internal sourcing team to find solutions to customer needs, including sourcing assistance as needed Prepare quotes on product-only requests, including the product specification and pricing information Sales Orders:
Enter Sales Orders for assigned sales reps and customers, including:
Ensure quality and customer satisfaction on final delivery Coordinate with accounting and customer experience departments for final payment arrangements, and general account status Act as key point of contact to provide delivery updates and/or answer customer questions related to the execution of the project Partner with Shipping/Logistics to coordinate the transport of necessary materials Maintain accurate pricing information for each customer Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales, Packaging REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in business, project management or related field required 3-5 years of experience in project planning, estimation, or management preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer software required Knowledge of business and management planning, resource allocation, coordination of people and resources Competencies utilized:
