Production Team Lead (Night Shift)

30am This position will supervise team members and provide assistance to Production Supervisor.
Check to ensure machines are correctly set-up per the production plan.
Audit required daily check sheets.
Note any deviations from Standard.
Verify team members are performing tasks per work standard and maintaining 5S standards.
Ensure Department is meeting hourly/daily productivity requirements.
Should be capable of running all processes in their area including machine changeover to ensure that critical operations are correctly lead to production through lunches, breaks and absences.
Verify parts inventories and utilize safety stock when required and notify Sup/Mgmt.
of part shortages/inventory concerns Ensure No Good (N/G) parts are properly dispositioned and tagged though out the shift.
Alert management or maintenance to any issues causing downtime that occurs during shift.
Verify all parts and racks are clearly labeled by and appropriately dispositioned throughout the department.
Qualifications High School diploma or a 2-year degree or combination of experience and education.
Ability to identify problematic areas and work with the Supervisor as needed of any ongoing issues to meet and improve in efficiencies.
Prior experience in a team leader role (1 or more years) in manufacturing is preferred.
Follow, explain and clarify company policies and procedures to all team members.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Must have positive attitude and be able to communicate well in team environment.
Must have great work ethic, follow rules, be punctual, and set good example as a leader.
